Join Matthew Bromley-Morgans, Sound & Video Supervisor at the National Theatre, for a morning that aims to de-mystify video for sound people.

Increasingly we are also needed to work in video, which whilst sharing many things in common, is based on fundamentals that many of us haven't learnt. 

This seminar aims to introduce sound engineers to the basic technicalities and principles of working in video for theatre, from the basic principles to the pragmatic realities. 

During this three hour session Mogzi will aim to cover:

• Servers, Projectors and the stuff in between,
  
• Qlab 3 & Catalyst v5
  
• Panasonic Projector Web Interface & Setup
  
• Signal Extension
  
• Basic Troubleshooting
  

It would be helpful if you could bring a Mac Laptop with Qlab and Catalyst already installed to use during the session. Mogzi will refer to this as the tutorial progresses.

Please note this seminar is being held at the National Theatre Studio, next to the Old Vic Theatre. That's a different place from the National Theatre where the Olivier, Lyttelton and Dorfman theatres are located.
